If you're looking for someone who may have been affected by Sunday's tornado, there's at least one way to check on them. Kristen Stark of Freeman Health Systems says they've set up a phone number to call for a list of those who have been accounted for.

The City of Joplin's established a few phone numbers for those still wanting to help with recovery and relief efforts in the wake of Sunday's tornado. Individuals wanting to donate their time should call 417-625-3543. If you want to donate items, call 625-6542, and if you're part of a volunteer group, church, or business, call 314-623-9991.

Federal disaster assistance extended to more Mo. counties

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KFVS) - Federal disaster assistance has been extended to more Missouri counties hit hard by recent severe storms and flooding.

Mo. Gov. Jay Nixon announced on May 27, 2011 that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has extended individual disaster assistance to six additional counties and public assistance to 13 additional counties in Mo.
