notes: 7/26/10 FACEBOOK POST: There has been flooding in our part of the country, and Katrina's Angels (http://www.katrinasangels.org/) has a request. Can anyone please donate to Katrina's Angels (http://www.katrinasangels.org/Donate.asp) so we can get school supplies for the inner city and Westchester, IL kids affected by the recent flooding? The area schools wer...e inundated with water and sewage, as were many homes and businesses. Katrina's Angels, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit disaster relief organization so all donations are tax-deductible. I plan on meeting up with Greg Conklin, Response Cooridnator for Neighbors Across the Land Disaster Relief and Recovery (http://www.NATLDRR.org/) (NATLDRR) as they arrive to help clean the mess from flooded homes and basements and especially help the uninsured and elderly. WE NEED HANDS-ON VOLUNTEERS! Please sign up at: http://www.katrinasangels.org/Volunteers.asp. They also need money for flood bucket clean-up supplies like bleach and mops.
