Construction Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator Training

Dale and Jeannie Peercy facilitate the Construction Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator Training Series across the country. The Peercy’s have over 9 yrs. in disaster response, more than 20 years, in construction experience and have trained over 300 people for disaster response. There is no cost to attendees for these sessions and all training materials and documents are provided.

Modules:
Overview – all components surrounding disaster response
Assessment & Estimation – significance, repair agreements, estimating procedures & forms (This module requires prior construction knowledge)
Deferred Maintenance – addressing disaster repairs vs. pre-existing conditions
Construction Department Development – setting up an efficient & effective operation
Case Manager Construction Prep – Prep Case Managers with Construction Methods & Language
Volunteer Orientation – relationship w/homeowner, work safety, methods, equipment & records
Volunteer Coordination – type, size, style of groups, housing, transportation, leadership & training
