GET INVOLVED
Volunteers come from all walks of life and share one thing in common—the willingness to give of themselves to help their neighbors in need. Only through your efforts can we achieve our mission of ending hunger. When you give of your time you become a partner in the fight against hunger.

You have a unique opportunity to:
1. Help your neighbors in need by getting involved in your community
2. Learn valuable skills in the areas of leadership, program management, and development
3. Meet and work with other West Texans

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
Sort Food: Volunteers assess and sort boxes of food items and household products that have been donated by local grocery stores and collected at food drives. Pre-sort, repack, re-label products, and prepare for agency orders.

Pull Orders: Volunteers fill orders placed by member agencies so they can serve their clients. Some heavy lifting may be required.

Complete Administrative Tasks: Volunteers assist with general administrative tasks. Duties include filing, entering data, preparing mailings, and copying. Computer experience in Microsoft Office Suite is useful.

Special Event Volunteers: Volunteers work on the frontlines during special events including Stamp Out Hunger, the National Association of Letter Carrier’s annual food drive in May and other food drives that occur through out the year.
