ADOPT-A-BARREL From November 15 through December 31 grocery stores and other businesses hold on-going food drives. We need people to adopt one of the food collection barrels, which means checking the barrel daily, emptying it when necessary, and bringing the food to the Food Bank when you have a full load.


ORGANIZE A FOOD DRIVE at your place of worship, civic group, school, business or neighborhood. The need for food goes on all year. We furnish posters, collection containers, a list of the most needed food items and take home bags for individuals to fill. On-going food drives are great!

CONTACT YOUR FRIENDS in the food industry on our behalf. Tell your friends about our services and ask them to also support our work in Marin.
