Training Classes, Education, Parenting available at Families First Resource Center

notes: Numerous educational classes and training are offered in each county to the public throughout the year. Those classes consist of Anger Management, Parenting, Transparenting, Life Skills, and Foster Adoptive Training. A certificate of completion is provided upon completion of the course. Certain fees apply to court/attorney ordered referrals. Please call for more information. -> Parenting Classes Classes are offered throughout the year to all parents, including teens. The Parenting Class Program includes nine weekly sessions emphasizing positive self esteem, communication skills, child development, health and nutrition, househeld management, behavior management, violence reduction in the home, anger and stress management, alcohol and drug prevention and human sexuality. These classes are intended to provide parents with necessary skills for effective and healthy parenting.
