HOW LIFE CAN HELP

LIFE provides services to individuals with disabilities throughout Mississippi. As was the case with everyone on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, our Biloxi office and staff were hit hard by Katrina. Our thoughts and prayers will be with everyone during the 2006 Hurricane Season and beyond, but especially people with disabilities. If you have a disability and you need help to make any of the emergency preparations listed in this newsletter, LIFE's Biloxi office will help you. We have some prepared Hurricane Kits and we can will help you put in the supplies, especially medical supplies, that you may need. We will gladly provide you with the phone numbers of your local AMR offices for transportation, and the names of those shelters that will be opened in your community during a Hurricane.
