Overflow Shelter Volunteer

Position Description
Volunteer will assist the evening staff with the Overflow Shelter, including related front desk and meal duties.

Responsibilities may include
-Assist with shelter guest intake
-Help serve the evening meal
-Distribute towels and toiletries to guests
-Phone coverage
-Check residents in and out.

Qualifications
Compassion, diplomacy, and reliability. Previous shelter experience a plus but not necessary.

Commitment
Requires commitment of one shift per week

Hours
Daily 6:30pm to 9pm
