Support for Named Disaster: 2007 Tropical Cyclone Sidr Support available at World Vision US Headquarters

A monster cyclone pummeled the southeast coast of Bangladesh late Thursday. Winds reaching 150 mph drove high waves across lowland areas, flattening houses and forcing half a million people to flee for their lives.

World Vision already has teams on the ground, sheltering 20,000 children and families from the deadly effects of Cyclone Sidr. Now, these families urgently need your help.

Your generous donation will give children and families in Bangladesh the immediate aid they need to survive. A single gift of $100 will provide a Family Survival Kit containing things like emergency food rations, clean drinking water, blankets, and warm clothing. Please respond now.
