With casualties and damages mounting, Cyclone Sidr's widespread destruction has affected over 650,000 people throughout Bangladesh, with many missing and many homes destroyed. Operation USA is responding to this disaster, as in the past with Bangladesh, working closely with their experienced local NGO network. Although Bangladesh has made many strides in disaster preparedness as well as disaster mitigation, our help is still needed.
