Support for Named Disaster: 2007 South Mexico Floods Support available at Hope Coalition America (Division of Operation USA)

notes: OPERATION USA APPEALS FOR PUBLIC SUPPORT TO AID VICTIMS OF SOUTH MEXICO FLOODS Throughout the state of Tabasco in Southern Mexico, over 900,000 people are displaced and awaiting rescue or shelter from floods triggered by recent heavy storms along Mexico's Gulf Coast. With a reported 80% of the state under water, 100% crop destruction and over 150 hospitals and medical centers flooded and closed, the majority of the state's population of 2 million are going to be seriously affected by the flooding. Operation USA has partnered with Unidos por Ellos, an experienced disaster outreach organization of Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. Unidos por Ellos is sending medical teams into the impacted areas of Tabasco and Chiapas and will be the recipient of materials and supplies from Operation USA.
