Construction, Home Repair, Volunteer needed by Jewish Family Service of San Diego

Description
Fix it Program provides low-income seniors with free minor home repairs. Volunteers are needed to assist with minor home safety modifications and repairs for seniors throughout San Diego County. Mileage reimbursement is available. Types of work performed are:

Installation of loud doorbells
Minor plumbing repairs
Inspection and installation of Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors
Installation of safety grab bars and hand rails
Replacement of light bulbs and batteries
Safety inspection completed during every repair
Scheduling is flexible. All tools provided.
