Consciously Rebuilding and HM Social Services, Inc. are in the early stages of renovating 8 units to offer as affordable "green" supportive housing for those returning to the Greater New Orleans Area. We would like to recruit volunteers that can offer services to assist in creating formal environmental specifications for our contractors (engineering plans) so that we know the performance of the technologies that will save energy, water, etc. Engineers do not necessarily have to be on-site if out-of-state professionals are interested.
We are also in need of construction services--roofing, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
We appreciate any help that is offered, and services are tax-deductible.
