Shelter, Womens, Battered Womens Shelter available at Catholic Charities (Los Angeles)

The emergency housing program of Catholic Charities is managed by Regions where the shelters are located. The program offers a wide range of services to address the needs of the homeless, including emergency shelters for individuals, families, and mothers with children. Services are provided to the unemployed, victims of domestic violence, and those who are mentally ill. In addition to offering safe housing, medical care and education for children, the program is designed to help the homeless to return to independent living, through counseling, information, skills training, referral to other agencies, and follow-up services.
