Prescription Assistance Program

We have developed a Prescription Assistant Program for the indigent in the four (4) counties of the Rio Grande Valley, Hidalgo, Cameron, Willacy and Starr to assist them in receiving their medications through the various pharmaceutical companies. In the last year (2007) we served almost 1510 individuals, helping them with prescription assistance in the amount of $960,146.99 dollars. We currently have a full time prescription coordinator located in our Guadalupe Health Center Clinic in Harlingen and a part-time employee covering the necessities of the Upper Rio Grande Valley. It is important to remember that this help is completely free to everyone.
