09/29/09 For Flood Relief in Gowanda, NY, KY, GA
Please help! We serve the under-served. Many are homeless!! We are on the ground in NY, and later will be on the ground in KY and/or GA. Our partner, Neighbors Across the Land, is asking for on-site volunteers to muck houses, and volunteers skilled with chain saws to cut down fallen trees, and cook. These volunteers are currently needed in Gowanda, NY. If you can help, contact info@katrinasangels.org or ProgramDirector@katrinasangels.org.
We are a virtual organization that uses the internet and telephone to make a difference in the lives of those suffering following disaster. Katrina's Angels goes on site only when necessary. Volunteer from home and set your own hours. No experience needed. Will train.
