"The number is more like 400 evacuees in Haviland, KS ~ The
Command Center is at Haviland High School ~ Red Cross is
currently BB'Q'ing burgers for evacuees, plenty of food
and shelter room ~ Only ten people sheltering at Barclay
College (This is alumni weekend so they are pretty full
up on space) ~ Haviland Friends Church has no needs at this
time ~ Wal-Mart has brough in more than enough water ~ We
are feeding shelter residents sandwiches and chips - Many
evacuees have left our church - Relatives have come to pick
them up".
Will check back in with them in a week to assess their role as
they will likely be involved in assisting with debri removal - LTel
