I am pleased to announce that the comprehensive Community Arise disaster ministry curriculum materials developed by Church World Service and its partner denominations are now publicly available via www.communityarise.net and www.communityarise.com. We're facing a slight registry problem with www.communityarise.org which should be resolved early next week at which time CA will also be available via that url address as well.

Via the web site, visitors can view or download the instructor's guide, participant manual, and powerpoint slides for:

- Basic Disaster Ministry
- Disaster Case Management Overview
- Disaster Long-Term Recovery
- Volunteer Management & Coordination
- Emotional & Spiritual Care in Disaster
- Children & Youth in Disaster
- Technology-Caused Disaster Response

The interactive online version of Basic Disaster Ministry is in the final stages development and will be available on the web site soon. Also, the materials for Vulnerability to Disaster are being revised and not available via the web site currently.

The web pages for each curriculum module invites feedback from trainers using the curriculum materials and notes if the the course has not been pilot-tested.
