Through the Angel Flight Homeland Security Emergency Air Transportation System (HSEATS) program, Angel Flight Southeast is available to provide transportation via general aviation aircraft for the transportation of personnel, blood, medicine, and other supplies. AFSE flew many missions to deliver personnel and supplies after 9/11, Hurricane Andrew and the hurricanes of autumn 2004. Emergency personnel responding to a major emergency can request access to a flight in under four hours (sometimes less) by calling AFSE hotline: 1-800-352-4256 or office (352) 326-0761. During non-emergency/disaster times, AFSE provides free transportation for financially needy people who must travel long distances to get advanced medical treatment or treatment not available to them locally, and for many humanitarian reasons.
