Sandbags can be used as an erosion control device. The empty bags are located in a trash container near the sand at each site. Remember to bring a shovel to fill the bags with sand. Sand and bags are available at the following sites: ~Valle Verde Park: parking lot. The park is north of Espola Road; ~Lake Poway Road: “overflow” parking lot on the right, approaching the Lake; ~Midland Road: east side, across from the Train Barn at Old Poway Park; ~Garden Road: south side, across from Garden Road Elementary School.
