To provide a forum and formal structure by which it may initiate, collaborate and support ongoing and future HIV/AIDS programs and services in order to prevent duplication of efforts and gaps in HIV/AIDS programs and services, and to develop, implement, and monitor the progress of a unified, strategic plan for HIV/AIDS programs and services.

Notes:
1-2-1 Haven House provides transitional housing for up to one year for persons living with HIV/AIDS who have nowhere else to go. We have a 10-bed facility which provides not only housing but meals and program services to our residents.
1-2-1 Haven House also provides support groups for various related groups such as Families and Friends of Persons Living with HIV/AIDS.
At 1-2-1 Haven House, the emphasis is on LIVING with the disease, learning coping skills and making the transition back to a normal living situation. Residents are expected to help with daily household tasks and, if able, to seek employment outside the house.
1-2-1 Haven House also provides referrals to other necessary services such as medical services, usually through Southeast Mississippi Rural Health Initiative, support groups for HIV/AIDS, substance abuse and related areas, assistance with obtaining federal and state government benefits and on- and off-site programming.
