Notes:
The Cedar Bend Humane Society is the only full-service animal shelter in Black Hawk County. We are open to the public from 10am-5pm, seven days a week. Our adoption department is operational from the hours of 10am-4:30pm. Our Animal Control Department is available 8am-5pm every day. We have one officer on-call after hours to respond to emergency situations.
The CBHS is a non-profit organization that could not exist without the support of people who donate money, time, and other gifts. To all those wonderful people, THANK YOU!
As always, the CBHS is currently housing many cats and dogs looking for forever homes of their own. If you are a loving committed home looking for an indoor pet, please stop in to visit with the shelter's animals!
