Care provider offers help to residents hit by fire

MYRTLE BEACH — If you care for a disabled young adult or the elderly, Active Day Medical Adult Day Center located at 3901 N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is offering emergency placement for day services including transportation and medical supervision. In addition, Active Day will serve as a drop off location for clothing, toiletries and non-perishable food items for the displaced families in the area.

“A number of our clients have been displaced by the fires and several caregivers are awaiting evacuation from their homes,” said Lesley Bess, Center Director for Active Day of the Grand Strand. “We want to offer our services to them and to help the community in this time of need.”
