notes: 2010 Haiti Earthquake Ecole Baptist Bethanie is a part of Bethanie Baptist Church there in Lakrobat Haiti. The school was founded ten years ago for the express purpose of giving the children in this community a Fundamental Christian education. This includes the curriculum required by the Haiti Department of Education plus any other subjects we desire to offer. From kindergarten thru all grades the children receive Bible instruction every day and attend an evangelistic chapel service every Friday morning. We add a new year to the school each year as we grow. We are at grade nine this year. In the past year we have added a computer lab to teach fourth grade and up Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel. We have plans as we grow to add other vocational subjects including Music, Carpentry, Cooking, Sewing, etc. Because of dwindling donor base support over the last year or so we have had to ask our parents to contribute to tuition costs.
