Mission: The needs of the underserved populations in our community are great. Our response must be greater. For this reason Good Samaritan Health Services, located in Tulsa, OK, is more than simply another free clinic. It uses the ministry of medicine and healthcare to open doors, change lives, and build relationships.
Good Samaritan uses a spiritually integrated, wholistic approach to healthcare designed to address the broader needs of indigent patients. It achives this by drawing on the combined strengths of its founding organizations, In His Image, and Tulsa Cornerstone Assistance Network.
Good Samaritan Health Services' outreach locations presently include low-income sections of Tulsa, OK and the the surrounding areas.
The working poor, the unemployed, single parents, children living at or below poverty line, and isolated seniors make up a large number of GSHS patients.
GSHS has secured a state-of-the-art Mobile Medical Van to bring quality and compassionate healthcare to the underserved on a weekly basis.

Who does Good Samaritan serve?

How much does it cost to see a doctor?
Good Samaritan does not charge patients to see a physican; however donations are accepted.
How is Good Samaritan funded?
Good Samaritan is a non-profit organization that receives funding through private individuals, foundations, and corporations.
What services does Good Samaritan offer?
Good Samaritan is able to offer primary care evaluation, preventive health care, physical examiniations, health education, childhood immunizations, cholesterol testing, blood sugar testing, blood pressure screening, pregnancy testing, and limited mental health counseling.
Can I get prescription medications at a Good Samaritan Clinic?
Yes, we do have some medications that have been donated to us. We do not have narcotics, and availibility for certain types of medications are limited. If you have question about medication please call Lynn (918-493-7884 ext 3).
Can I volunteer if I am not a doctor or nurse?
Yes, Good Samaritan also needs intake workers, prayer partners, runners, site coordiators, child care helpers, clerical assitance, people to stuff envelopes, and more.

Do I get to see a real doctor?
Yes, all of our doctors are licensed physicians who are volunteering their time.
How does the Clinic work?
Patients are seen on a first come first served basis. You will sign in when you get there. Someone will then talk to you about your symptoms. Your temperature & blood pressure will be taken. Then you will be seen by the first available physician.
