Kits are also given to children in need whose parents don’t provide their basic needs. The kits provide comfort and a boost in self-confidence during what can be a very dark time. Your group can help us by assembling kits. We provide disaster victims with two types of kits: health kits and meal kits. Health kits provide soap, toothpaste and other personal hygiene supplies that may be lost in a storm. Food kits provide shelf-stable food so that a family can eat when they're stuck in a motel with only a microwave, or working long hours at their property with no time for a meal break.
