Women Social Organization (WSO) works with the poorest womenfolk of South Punjab, whose lives are beset with illiteracy, diseases and other handicaps. With its development intervention and community mobilization, WSO strives to change the life of the poorest female members of the communities. WSO envisions the South Punjab women to live in a society, which assures equal opportunities of resources, freedom and enabling environment to access the resources. Women's economic empowerment through skill enhancement, Microcredit and enterprise development program. Poverty eradication and environment protection through community infrastructure development. Increasing literacy by establishing formal schools in the communities of District Muzaffargarh. Provision of basic health facilities through the Community Health Centers and Free Medical Camps. Promotion of democratic values, peace and social harmony in society through awareness campaigns and advocacy programs.
