THE FOUNDATION

Ever so often, we, as humanity, have to look and see what we are doing not only to our world, but to ourselves. Gilbert Martin founded the Raise Your Hand and Open Your Heart Foundation Trust, a registered non-profit trust organization in South Africa, to get the world to group together and make real changes in the world.

With 7 members on our board of trustees, spanning 7 regions, 12 global leaders and representing 252 nations on Earth. We are geared to make an impact in our world, to make it the world we want. A place where love and caring meets the problems we have created in open warfare.

I ask you to join our organization as a member, take the time to view our website, where we are linked to over 30000 charities and growing every single day.

We are here for you. Wherever you are and we ask you to Raise Your Hand and Open Your Heart to those who need us most, those who have become lost and those who only need our love and kindness.

We are a family of 10 billion human beings, an extended family of 36 million species. This world is ours to steward and we must make the decision today to make a difference.

MISSION

Our mission is simply to find and link all of the charitable organizations in the world, in the fields of children, elderly, animals and environment.

This said, we also have involved ourselves in the fields of health, disabilities, people in crisis, countries in crisis and major disaster relief.

We are also geared to find solutions for peace in inter-religious and humanitarian causes for religious groups, countries and between individuals.

We developed this as a worldwide initiative to bring the world's charities, foundations, volunteers and anyone in need, to one place. This so that anyone who is able and willing may be able to help others in need.

It is our intention to change our world, to make it a better place for us all and to be involved in making peoples lives better.

SERVICES

You can donate to any of our multiple fund accounts, we hold in trust, from our website.

We are linked to and with many global organizations and by donating to our foundation and trust, you are assured and proof will be provided to you that your money and donations have reached its intended recipients.

Our organization is a registered non profit trust in South Africa and we can provide tax certificates and exemptions for any country in the world, including the United States.

If you have a charity or person in need you wish to incorporate into our website, we ask you to contact us, we will gladly certify and verify the status of the charity, or person in need and do what we can to be of help.

If you wish to represent your country, province, prefecture or region, we ask you to join the Global Lights of Change, our group on Facebook where leaders unite for the sake of the world and its children and creatures.

If you need your charity project promoted, please do not hesitate to contact us, so that we can assist you in any way we can.

We also have a group on facebook called Raise Your Voice, where we tackle social issues head on. You are more than welcome to volunteer your skills and services there to people who are in trouble, drug issues, mental issues and family problems, be a part of change for these people and help them to help themselves.

Once long ago, we all were children, simple, loving and caring. We chose to care about our world, our families and everyone around us. Somewhere along the way, we became mad; we lost our way as humanity. We began destroying and consuming our world and our hearts. We chose events and things as more important - than each others lives. The Raise Your Hand and Open Your Heart Foundation chooses to change that, to get people to help one another, no matter the crisis, the problem, or the effort. A world united for ONE single common goal. HOPE. HOPE for each other, for our children, for our animals and for our environment.

You can be a part of this organization, by registering through the website, donating cash, time, your talents, volunteer or participate directly with the charities, people and organizations listed there. You can load new charities and even load your own problems. This way, we intend helping each other, as ONE family. HOW ARE WE KEPT ACCOUNTABLE?

The donor is notified, thanked and praised for making a donation, immediately upon payment. They are also automatically provided with a tax certificate. They remain anonymous on the system, but are progressed to the regional list of real donors.

They are explained that their funds are kept in trust, either for direct release for urgent need, or until a project comes up that is needed for and will NOT be used for anything else.

Once the payment is, the donor is informed that the payment is made to the charity, or cause. With a proof of payment attached in the system and a track able reference to verify that this has been done.

100% of the donation will be done, unless under extreme circumstance a charge or fee is incurred. In this instance, they will also be provided with proof of these charges.

Now, most organizations end here, but where Raise Your Hand will be different is that we will not only 'pay' the 100% donation over to the organization, we will require them to provide us with faxes or scanned emails of the use of this money and exactly what every cent is used for.

They will only receive an immediate 20% of the donation and until they prove that they can provide the proof that it is used what it is used for, we will not release the money.

If it is an ambassador or representative of the charity, and the entire donation is needed now, they will immediately be paid over, once they provide letters from where they will be purchasing goods, or provide direct invoices for us to pay on their behalf.

Let us say, as an example, The Red Cross needs $850000 (yes, they asked me for this), for fuel and the means to get aid across Pakistan. Now, what would be best is to find a Shell Petrol Depot there and pay them directly, with this proof of invoice and payment, our donors will feel that their money has gone to the right place.

If, we can, we will also provide them with photos of the delivery of their aid.

All of this allows our donors to know their money goes to the correct place at any given time, with proof and contactable verification of delivery of the aid money.
