None of the districts benefit from any public service. To get to Belle-Fontaine 3 from Port Au Prince requires more than a 6-hour journey. Additionally, the illiteracy rate is nearly 100%, and the effects of extensive deforestation are quite evident. ==== Newsletters from: 2009 - In January 2009, orientation meetings as well as a Thanksgiving Service were held for the 85 enrolled students of the newly formed Garden of Grace Elementary School located in Belle Fontaine 3, in the Croix des Bouquets region.
