Mission: Volunteer Medics Worldwide is an organization that is based solely on the generosity from volunteers and charitable donations from around the world. On the belief that we must follow God's calling to go out and serve others. We will continue to assist those in need around the world. There are numerous ways you can join our cause at V.M.W by doing any of the following:

1. You can volunteer to go on a two or three week mission with V.M.W.
2. You can help by sending a donation via mail or through our pay pal on-line donation site.
3. You can collect usable items for V.M.W and mail them to us at the address below such as, glasses, medications and medical equipment/supplies.
4. You can send correspondence via email, fax or write us telling us about people that are in need of help.

There are currently about 2,000 people sleeping/waiting at the FKS facility. Many are not well and have lost everything but the things on their backs. They have not been able to bath properly for several days now and food and water have been in shortage. The reaction to VMW being here has been good and they have thanked us and made very positive comments. We also have teamed up the Korean Disaster Relief ORG. = www.kdr.or.kr for this mission.

1. We are an international NGO which has been in operation since March 14th 1991

2. We have members such as Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Medics, Teachers, Logisticians and so on.

3. All members are 100% volunteer and NOT ONE of us is paid in any manner for services we perform.

4. Our members are from more than 50 countries worldwide.

5. IN JAPAN we are providing operational , aviation and medical support to local officials as they attempt to contain the disaster which began on 11 March 2011. I have staged us at Fukushima Airport or FKS which is the Identifier. We are using the ANA Airlines waiting room upstairs to work from. Things we are doing now.

a. Providing basic medical and psychological aid and comfort to victims of the Tsunami/Nuclear Disaster.

b. Assistance with news information for travelers as we know it.

c. Recommendations for survival during the aftermath of this event and notification of safety zone details as they come in.

d. Issuing basic comfort items ie: blankets, water , snacks and vitamins as we have them available.

e. We are trying to assist with any reasonable task that we are able to perform.
