Disaster Response

Catholic Charities of Central Texas recognizes the value of coordinating disaster response and recovery through the sharing of resources, people, technical assistance and other support.

In the event of a disaster, Catholic Charities of Central Texas, with the direction of the Bishop of the Diocese of Austin, may engage in the coordinated cooperative response to disaster affected areas.

Catholic Charities of Central Texas works with parishes to coordinate fund raising activities and donation petitions for disaster response and recovery. (food, water, personal care items, baby food and baby care items, shelter, etc�)
