Mission: First 72 hours after April 27th, 2011

Word Alive was on scene as a first responder with volunteers and resources to serve emergency workers and help families affected by the tornado disaster that swept through our state. Through our Isaiah 58 ministry we were able to respond immediately with over 300,000 pounds of food, water and supplies to Pratt City, Tuscaloosa, Cullman, Guntersville, Ohatchee, and Webster's Chapel.

All of this is made possible by the generosity of the Word Alive family, volunteers in our community, and many caring people around the nation.

Ongoing Support Efforts

We will continue to serve those individuals and families impacted by this disaster as they move from survival to recovery. Please continue to pray for these families and see below to find other ways you can help.
