The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services has set up a toll-free hotline for citizens with damage: 877-212-0316 7 am–7 pm (CDT)
Callers will be directed through a series of simple questions that should take only a few minutes. If needed, callers will also be referred to volunteer agencies that are providing assistance, including Lutheran Disaster Response North Dakota, a program of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota.
People who are concerned about family members in an affected area may also access the Safe and Well website to view these messages. They will be required to enter either the name and telephone number, or the name and complete address, of the person about whom they wish to get information.
Be assured that the information on the Safe and Well website is secure and that information about the locations where people are staying is not published. Privacy laws require the Red Cross to protect each person’s right to determine how best to communicate their contact information and whereabouts to family members. The Red Cross does not actively trace or attempt to locate individuals registered on the Safe and Well website.
We have been asked how individuals can go about making monetary donations or send care packages to the Air Force Base. Checks should be made payable to Operation Warm Heart, and mailed to The Airman & Family Readiness Center. Care packages can be sent to the same address.
The Airman & Family Readiness Center, 22 Peacekeeper Place, Minot AFB, ND 58722. Suggested items: personal hygiene products, snack items, children's games, books, magazines, linens, are just some ideas.

Safe and Well Website Registration: All flood evacuees are encouraged to register with Safe and Well, the American Red Cross website that enables people within a disaster area to let their friends and loved ones outside of the affected region know of their well-being. By logging onto the Red Cross public website, https://disastersafe.redcross.org, a person affected by disaster may post messages indicating that they are safe and well at a shelter, hotel, or at home, and that they will contact their friends and family as soon as possible.

By logging onto the Red Cross public website, https://disastersafe.redcross.org, a person affected by disaster may post messages indicating that they are safe and well at a shelter, hotel, or at home, and that they will contact their friends and family as soon as possible.
People who are concerned about family members in an affected area may also access the Safe and Well website to view these messages. They will be required to enter either the name and telephone number, or the name and complete address, of the person about whom they wish to get information.

SAFE & WELL -
Safe and Well Website Registration: All flood evacuees are encouraged to register with Safe and Well, the American Red Cross website that enables people within a disaster area to let their friends and loved ones outside of the affected region know of their well-being. By logging onto the Red Cross public website, https://disastersafe.redcross.org, a person affected by disaster may post messages indicating that they are safe and well at a shelter, hotel, or at home, and that they will contact their friends and family as soon as possible.

There is a need for bedding to use for animals at the Pet Evacuation Center. If anyone is able to spare it and willing to donate any used sheets, blankets, towels, etc., it would be greatly appreciated. Also needed at this time is disinfectant cleaner and hand sanitizer. Please drop off at the NDSU Extension Center between 8am-6pm. There are more than 400 animals being sheltered at this time. Thanks! 6/24 7:27
