This page exists for our community members affected by the 2020 Santiam Fire. There are a few ways you can get involved to support the immediate, local needs of our community:

Professionally organized efforts to manage this Page communication and to connect resources are gifted by Santiam Memorial Hospital Service Integration Team (SIT). All donations made directly to Santiam Canyon Wildfire Relief Fund are eligible for tax deduction. We intend to monitor the posts to this group with diligence, with the utmost respect for privacy of those in need, and with transparency of fiscal oversight.

These two women are inspiring! They’ve both lost homes due to wildfire but in all of the chaos, they’ve helped create the Santiam Canyon Wildfire Relief Fund and are working with Santiam Hospital, Stayton, Oregon to do it.

The idea: People living in Santiam Canyon helping others living in the same community. The goal is to connect families in need, to people who can give, with a team at Santiam Hospital serving as a go-between. The beauty of it? The hospital already has a team dedicated to helping fill needs in the community. Now that team will help people in the canyon rebuild.

Starting 9/12 donations can be made online at www.santiamhospital.org.
