Client Assistance
Helping people in emergency situations is what we do!
Good Samaritan focuses on families in crisis who are experiencing an unexpected (yet verifiable) emergency beyond the client’s control.
Our staff strives to make a “long-term” difference in a person’s life by using the occasion of “short-term” emergency assistance.
Our case management team works hard to supply information and make appropriate referrals, to budget counsel and to advocate for our clients.
Our case management team also works with area churches to provide guidance in handling the multitude of requests calls that churches receive on a weekly basis.

Volunteer
“There is no greater gift than the gift of one’s time”
Volunteers (young and old) are needed for a multitude of volunteer positions. Help is needed in our clothing warehouse and our food pantry, with meal and furniture delivery, general office reception, and customer service at our thrift store.
We also have group volunteer opportunities on various Saturdays each month in our regular social service programs and there is usually a special project or two going on.
If you have a group that is looking for a special volunteer opportunity or if you are an individual looking for a place to utilize your talents, contact us.

Monetary support is tax deductible. Giving monetarily helps Good Sam in our mission to help families in crisis. Every dollar donated (unless otherwise specified by the donor) is used for client assistance.
We will use your donations to buy food for our pantry, bus tickets for stranded families, as well as medicine for someone who can not afford their prescription.
