My name is Ketline Edouard and I am a registered nurse working at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Two Haitian doctors and a conjunction of registered nurses in Haiti and Boston, myself included, put our skills together to run a mobile clinic in Haiti in order to offer our assistance. We will be running the mobile clinic at least every 6 months and will be following up with the target population, making house visits and promoting health through education. We will be providing health care clinics in the deprived areas free of charge to people. We will be running the clinic on our property and it will be financed by our funds. I’m submitting this letter in order to ask for your company’s support regarding our mobile clinic.

Who do we serve?

We pick a village in the north region of Haiti called St. Raphael, where there are about 50,000 habitants. This region is where more than 5,000 people fled after the earthquake. In this village, we are targeting:

1. Adults with hypertension and diabetes

2. Teens with sexual transmitted diseases (HIV and AIDS) and pregnancy.

3. Children and parents, to whom we offer immunizations and educational seminars in order to improve health conditions.
