Mission: Haiti Solidarité, Inc.'s goal is to provide economic assistance and social development opportunities, to strengthen grassroots organizations, and to facilitate access to education, health care, safe drinking water, food, and outdoor recreational activities to Chaumeil and its surrounding communities.
Haiti Solidarité, Inc. is a non-profit organization with the mission to bring assistance to the community of Chaumeil, a suburb of the town of Bainet in the South East department of Haiti. Haiti Solidarité, Inc. exists to help the Haitian people in this region in the areas of: environmental degradation, famine, lack of infrastructure, areas where there is no notable activity of production and no current development
No substantial part of the activities of the corporation shall consist of the carrying on of propaganda or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and the corporation shall not participate in, or intervene in, any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office.
The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Some of the Achievements of Haiti Solidarite.

Haiti Solidarité, inc. has paid the salary of the 7 teachers for the school year 2008-2009 of the school: Ecole de Terre Blanche.
Provided school supplies to 245 children of 3 different schools of the community of Chaumeil.
Sponsored the annual soccer championship of the community by providing the trophies, the monetary prizes, soccer balls, uniforms etc.
Helped buy a soccer field for the youths.
Distributed goods and food to the population after 4 hurricanes had hit the country in 2008.
